Can someone explain this shit? I tried /x/ but its full of retards. From what I understand there are a few of these "shards" or "towers" on the Moon with size estimates ranging from 1 to 7 miles high. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I can't find any name or mention of these on NASA's website.

These could be optical illusions at play but they still appear in various images taken from different expeditions.
