Hey /sci/, by how much does the standard human genome deviate from the ancestral variants? I.E. How many basepairs are there to be expected to be different from the regular? I am trying to make a consensus calling of an ancient population but I am not sure if it is a definitive genome.
As for the jannies, I'll go to /adv/ if that's what you want but I thought to take a look at /sci/ first.
