>>12806388I came up with some really good analytic expressions in my field that have a direct parallel to another field and he suddenly kicked me out of the project, stopped posting his papers to arxiv, and told me to keep working on my (much more boring) dissertation. The dissertation is done now and I’ve graduated and started asking what became of the work, saying I wanted to get involved again. Asked him to send me the paper he’s publishing about it and he ignored me. I hope he just hates me and isn’t stealing my idea. But I have an email chain about it where I sent my idea pretty explicitly. If he is stealing it, can I use that?
