Apophis distance from earth

According to an orbital diagram on jpl, asteroid apophis will be 3.59e-3AU from earth on April 13th, 2029.

That is .00359 AU, correct?
That is 333711 miles, correct?

Why is it said that apophis will only be 19000 miles from earth on that day?

Please help me understand.

What diagram? If it's something for public promotion it's probably either a typo or you're reading it wrong
The actual data is on a table here:

You can see the closest approach in 2029 is 0.00025 AU, or around 37 thousand kilometers (31,000 km from the surface of the Earth)

It's amazing that an asteroid is going to pass so close to Earth. I wonder, instead of getting lower and lower probability of impact since its discovery we actually found out it's going to hit the Earth, could we have done something about it or just hope that it doesn't fall near a populated area.
