Let's say, hypothetically, I have a lump on my penis. Let's also say that I'm under 18, so I can't post a picture. Let's go on to say that I only want to see a doctor if I really need to. This is all hypothetical, remember.
The lump is located on the right side, just south of the head, underneath the skin. It's small enough that it isn't really visible unless I have an erection. It's a prolate spheroid and it can move around quite a bit. The area around it has hurt a little bit in the past few days, but I think that's because of excessive masturbation and thorough examination of the area rather than the lump itself. It's also worth mentioning at this point that I had hypospadias surgery as an infant and am circumcised because of it. I could have had this for my whole life, but I have only really noticed it in the past year.
Hypothetically, should I worry? Is it just a cyst? Is it penile cancer (which I know is reeaaaallly rare, especially in young men)? Is it skin cancer of some sort? I haven't noticed any changes in shape or size. I told myself that if I did, I would just see a doctor about it.
