>>12802965I don't see the point. Each day 20 people who want to live die waiting for a transplant organ to become available. Meamewhile 132 people die each day because they don't want to live any more. They are forced to do so in gruesome demeaning ways that are traumatizing to friends family and first responders due to ludicrous laws making a humane suicide illegal.
On the list of basic human rights the right to end ones own life should be only second to the right to not be killed against ones will.
If humane suicide were legal I would imagine a good portion of those partaking would choose to have their organs donated, each donor can save up to eight lives and can benefit as many as 75 people with tissue donations.
We don't really have an organ shortage, we have an idiot law surplus.
