Black holes are infalling matter being time dilated to infinity. At the EH dilation becomes infinite. There is no striking the singularity as the infalling matter has not yet had time to become a singularity, nor will it ever.
A new repulsive force arises at the EH, manifesting from the uncertainty princible, causing the matter to immediately rebound and explode outwards. To you falling in, it seems like a bomb. To us outside, it appears as hawking radiation.
