How could a person with normal vision temporarily experience true blindness? Or in the other direction - could we trick our brain to perceive even more colors than we are able to see right now? The common misconception is, that blind people see "black", the same thing we see when we close our eyes. However, as weird as it sounds, the experience of being blind is unimaginable for a person with normal vision - it's just nothing, just the same way a person who could see a wider color range could not describe their perceived color to us.
