Mathematics and Coding/Tech Knowledge I need to know to understand crypto?
Was inspired by some anon on /lit/ to try and contribute to the field while it was still young.
I've already had a naïve read of the main white papers.
They were very short and pleasant to read but I know I missed some things.
Here's my attempt at a list:
>Obviously cryptography would be useful, esp. for all the SHA-stuff (this would imply algebra too, to understand curves and shit, right?)
>Coding Theory and Computer Science.
>Monetary theory would be good, less /sci/ency but still useful to make sense of all of this.
>Information theory? Maybe not...I honestly don't know.
Seems legit? Recommend books please.
