Get gud, don't settle for less than you're worth, build and push shit to github constantly (it will be your portfolio since you have no other way to show how good you are), and climb the ladder. Programmers/coders are desperately needed everywhere. Don't fall into the "I moved to SF and applied to FAANG-only but can't find a joooooob", fuck those idiots. Every company on earth needs someone who can code, fuck FAANG, they suck donkey balls and don't pay you nearly enough. I emailed a random small company you've never heard of and got an internship that day, got a job offer after a month, comparable to FAANG salary AND I live in a low cost of living area (bought a house, $650/month mortage + acre of land) because literally everyone needs programmers, but programmers are only applying to FAANG for some god-aweful reason.
