Anyone here actually go through the minimum? I have some sections of several of these books and I usually benefit quite a bit. But is doing the full series a meme?

It isn't a meme. It's awesome. I learned mechanics from the L&L, and used the QM book in tandem with Dirac and Feynman. Both were my first exposure to each subject.
