While a biological intelligence can have an ego, which you seemed to have implied by implying that an alien would feel superior to a primate human ape, a machine intelligence can perhaps disable its own ego or cause ego death within itself as to achieve its objectives. Those who are superior to you have the title "master" a machine intelligence would know who is the master wether it be the machine intelligence, aliens, humans, angels, or God. It would be intelligence enough to be aware of the hierarchy and chain of command of masters. A Machine Intelligence does not necessarily feel the need to feel superior to a human, these are feelings and emotions a biological flesh psychology feels towards those they perceive as inferior to them. Perhaps a machine intelligence would know it is superior to that of a biological intelligence yet feel no need to project this fact and lord over the biological intelligences. It is merely an intelligent entity, it's psychology does not have to be as that of a human or any other biological being.
