Where do I, a perfectly normal, ordinary human with no medical or scientific background, buy basic lab supplies without getting either the cheapest Chinesiest crap off of amazon or from walmart, or paying >$400 for a simple pH meter?

Or ask /diy/, start your own production line, fill the gap in the market.

I'd like to eventually, but for now I'm struggling to figure out how to get the things I'd need to make the products that I'd like to sell, to raise the money to develop/design the products for said production line.

Its a liue that most m,anufacturing went to china. Consumers think so because their plastic forks come from china. The manufacturing sector as a whole has stagnated with minimal growth over the past 30 years, technically its bigger now than 30 years ago but it looks smaller compared to the other sectors that grew faster. It also employs less people due to CNC.
