but that is incorrect, a superchron is only a time dependant definition , it has no relation to extinction events.

if it happens solar radiation would fry every transistor on earth (and probably give us all cancer) so there wouldn't really by any industry to create co2
on the other hand, should it happen i doubt anyone would give a shit about global warming
