Truth is, AI is nothing but smoke and mirrors.
True machine intelligence is probably thousands of years away and it will be our successor, our legacy that is able to traverse space and do things on planets without worrying about atmospheres

to create true spiking neural networks, we only need the right learning algorithm, which we simply don't know because of the insufficient biological understanding of human brain
