Why haven't scientific institutions adopted filming of the methodological process as a requirement for publishing articles (at least in some areas)? Wouldn't it help with replicating some results?

I've thought of this, yea it should become standard.
You should have to record a video of the entire experiment and it's results etc. and also write the paper.

I can think of two plausible reasons.
1. Videotaping the experiment can actually alter it, for example exposing microbiomes to extra light can influence its growth. For another example, the frequency of the recording sound can alter noise measurements in nanotransport.
2. Privacy. Most of these results are data driven and hence you'd have to record your terminal which can have identifying information.

But ultimately it comes down to reason
3. They're scared.

Maybe not record the whole experiment, mostly the preparation and setup used (materials and whatnot), and the results from using said setup.

Regarding the privacy issue couldn't they just share raw results from the experiment? Why isn't that done anyways?

I could see a decrease of scientific output due to such a measure, but the quality probably would increase dramatically. Many people would be fired, so I guess there is an incentive not to do it, but it just seems to be the next step in the scientific process...
