I did well past 2 semesters in my online courses, so I decided to take 6 this semester b/c I thought I could manage it. About 1/2 the way in and I'm doing ok in 3 and basically failing in 3. I'm not really sure what to do, and I'm basically panicking

I should also add that dropping classes right now is super common because the pandemic, so it won't reflect poorly upon you later on.

I'm in a very similar situation anon, I thought about dropping something but again I already have stuff dropped from last year that's why I increased my study time and I keep pushing it to the limit, just do your best anon, if drop something you'll regret later

let’s look back at history. edward witten spent a few years as a postdoc at harvard after his princeton grad school years. while at harvard, witten learned tons of advanced math through interactions with Bott and Yau and all the best math guys.
