What makes covid so complicated that researchers couldnt make a standard inactivated, live attenuated or protein subunit vacc? Why are they all mRNA or adenovirus vector? Have yet to get a good answer on this.

Nothing. Live attenuated and subunit vaccines just take a lot more time to test efficacy and get approval. That's why mRNA and viral vector vaccines are so desirable, they drastically decrease the time to ramp-up production.

Also attenuated and subunit vaccines suck.

Did you go to high school? mRNA vaccines just utilize the basic dogma of biology (DNA --> RNA --> Protein) to generate immunity to an antigenic protein in a time efficient way. It doesn't modify the genetic code.The only way someone could use this for a nefarious purpose would be if someone made the mRNA translate into a deleterious protein like a venom or poison and then somehow get a huge number of people to inject it into themselves...

Nice strawman fuckhead. The fundamental opposition is rolling out this experimental, barely tested shit to entire fucking populations and using corporate coersion and social shaming for those who support bodily autonomy and find the whole thing extremely worrying. The history of experimental vaccines is NOT GOOD. I know several people personally who are suffering lifelong effects from experimental shit forced on them in the military.

The mRNA is not publicly available. It's the manufacturer's IP. Good luck getting any info on secondary and tertiary Proteins that are also coded for. Tinfoil hat level skepticism would say those potential side effects would be on purpose, regular skepticism level would say we don't fully understand all the potential proteins that can be coded by a single strand of mRNA depending on the environment + cell it is in... especially if that mRNA gets clipped and cut in weird places by normal occurrence within the cell.

My one friend who got it was a marathon runner who always bragged about how he never got tired, and now whenever he tries to go up the stairs his spo2 plummets to the low 90's and he was sick MONTHS ago.

mRNA vaccines were there and ready, they just needed funding and opportunity to undergo the phase 2 and 3 trials for efficacy. The pandemic provided both in spades. Since mRNA vaccines are so fast and easy to mass produce, they were at the finish line while the first chicken eggs were finally making the first batch of attenuated vaccine.

It's a little hard to make though. Gotta incubate it in human cell bioreactors. Dangerous until it's inactivated. I read that their factory had an outbreak and now they have trouble recruiting employees.
