They think that they are the masters of the universe and can rationalise complex dynamic nonlinear systems like the human psyche. They are delusional in their ideas and unsuccessful in their application. Game theory is a giant joke. It's the rapechild of math with psychology. It is a useless monstrosity. It solely exists because the MBA schools need some bullshit they can teach, so that the money doesn't seem to be as wasted as it is.
