I really enjoy Nikoli puzzle books, they're the company that made sudoku popular in the 90s, they have a large variety of puzzle books and have great annual versions of giant puzzles.

I've found Martin Gardner's books to be really all over the place, some of them are great and others total shit. Clifford Pickover fucking sucks. any other recommendations like this?
