How would you describe a person? Realistically? By its height? Weight? These are single numbers but thats a horrible description. It lacks so much information that would not even be a bad description, anyone would mock you if you described a person by its height or weight.
Face it, you need nearly infinite parameters to describe complexity. If you can do infinite, try something like a few hundred parameters at least, put on some effort, a single parameter is a joke.
