What if we designed a HIV strain that is able to bypass human anti-viral response and infected everyone. Would this result in the new HIV out competing the old one and since it wouldn't result in an immune response it wouldn't cause the death of CD4 cells.
Is this a good idea or is it genocide levels of stupid?
