i looked over them and read the drama on usenet. they did some obscure stuff on quantum groups which seemed kinda legit i guess but then they inserted some sad attempts to connect it to real physics and it was handwaving garbage. their sort of end argument was that they solved the big bang singularity because the sign of the metric could have a “quantum fluctuation” from minkowski to euclidean so the initial state had only 4 space dimensions and no time dimension. super handwavy argument to arrive at a pothead type “danggg man i solved the big bang” drivel
