I've tried Adderall, Strattera, Vyvanse, Wellbutrin, and Concerta. Going to ask for Desoxyn but it's unlikely I can afford that or if my doctor will even prescribe it.
All adderall does is decrease my need for sleep, decrease my appetite, and gives me a little mood boost. Nothing to help with focusing.

Just guessing here, but could it be that you expect too much from the drugs? For me, they make distractions fade into the background and they lessen the urge to fidget a lot, but they don't magically make me productive by themselves. They're like a rocket booster, I'm when they kick in I'm going to keep going in the direction I was pointed. So if I was reading a book, I'll read it with more focus, but if I was on 4chan, I'll waste many hours here.

Yes, I think I'm looking for a magic pill because some describe these medicines as such, but I'm going to try and build my mental endurance like another anon said and hopes it gets easier.
I'm going to build better discipline.

Adderall and Ritalin do turn you into an energizer bunny, but only in the first week. Then you gain a semi-permanent tolerance. The people who take stimulants for finals or some other short period only are describing this "honeymoon period". If you're actually medicating ADHD, it's expected that you get through this period without getting used to the motivating effects, and after this period, you only get the increased focus and resistance to distraction (the "rocket booster" effect I described). You still have to supply your own motivation and direction. Read /u/PragmaticPulp's comment history on Reddit if you want more information on the honeymoon period (I'm not him btw).

Depending on your age (though by posting here you should already be past that) it might get easier later on. For me it tends to simply reinforce whatever else I get myself into, be it depression or burn-out or whatever else. I decided to get into academia and rather unsurprisingly I fit right the fuck in with everyone else, which also means people don't mind my less productive phases.

Adderal etc. can decrease performance in memory for high iq people. Also, if you're a zoomer who can't concentrate do not take stimulants to fix it. It might work for short term but will fuck you in the long run.
