I bet more than half of them would have been thrown out within a week, because they are just incompetent with their hands.
In the end most people just parrot stuff. If you can use common sense and disregard „trusted“ „experts“, you are already ahead of most. If you are willing to look up fancy terms and think for yourself, if a design is even suited to show something and can verify basic statistics; congratulations, because that’s already better than 80 percent of all scientists.
