Yeah, because the issue's about funding.

Who's gonna actually do the replicability studies? Hell, the way we write the papers right now many/most dont even have enough info to reliably attempt to replicate them, even if the findings are correct

Pretty late, like mid-late University. Can't remember exactly which straw broke the camel's back but it was some combination of the denial of racial differences, getting deeper into nutrition (pretty much all of nutrition science is a joke, not least of the the government guidelines), and realizing that all of my friends who would do the absolute bare minimum to pass and misunderstand basic concepts would go on to be the authoritative sources that we are supposed to trust.
