I'm extremely overqualified for the job I have, I've attempted to apply to multiple government jobs, even those that are slightly below where I should be and all of them have been rejected. Unless you know someone, you're not getting in. I have a Master's degree in Cyber Ops with a BA in Cybersecurity Networks and Technology. I'm certified in Network+, Security+, and I'm well on my way to getting a CEH. To top it all off I have a TS-SSBI clearance for the DoD. Ideally I would want to be working on the offensive side of things or developing cool shit since part of my Master's program was in developing tools for cyber. Not like it matters anyway, in 5 years we'll all be replaced by Raj and Pajeet anyway. Best case scenario is I complete my doctorate and work in academia at this point.
