how do fellow female undergrads deal with the shallow faux-empowerment rhetoric that's probably being pushed by your major department/other women? I feel like it creates artificial tension between myself and the men in my classes. I don't want the fact that I'm female to be seen as relevant in any way nor do I wish to be pandered to, I'm just trying to learn math.
