Literally could solve world hunger and global warming (rewinding of agricultural land) and heaps of other things, electrolithotrophs exist in nature and I imagine it would be quite simple to engineer a artificial organ which can produce glucose and oxygen with current, along with producing the other essential amino acids, we could literally just spend include induction charging banks in our beds and incorporate it into clothing which feeds our artificial organ electricity.
