If you aren’t a trained scientist, engineer, doctor, or mathematician, 99.99% of the time your intuition involving science is wrong. Common sense is not a substitute for proper research.

Most people cannot even understand proof by contrapositive or proof by induction, I think it would be silly to let these laymen distort scientific truth.
