So lets say i have a reall complicated integral. Lets say it has a hundred terms with different fuctions.

Why can't i just substitute the equation with "N" and integrate that as .5N^2, and then go back and square and half the main equation.

I need some megaminds in here

Yes, you can do that.

Note that the integral has two parts, the integrand
and the infinitesimal. You can take your 100 term
integrand and call it N, but here's when the
infinitesimal comes in. You must find dN to use
in the integral >if N' is already in the integrand.
Otherwise, this integral is fucked.

Example: integral of (6x)*(3x^2) dx
let N = 3x^2, dN = 6x dx
>this is fine

Example 2: integral of (3x^2) dx
N = 3x^2, but where's dN?
