>>12735626>>being browsing /lit/ for the last two days. /lit/ is much more intelligent than /sci/I know the feeling, frogposter-kun.
However, the feeling is likely superficial. You don't know much about /lit/ yet, you haven't developed nuanced opinions on the topics they discuss.
And the topics /lit/ discuss require more effort than /sci/. There are less low-quality OPs because its more time consuming to get into pop-lit than pop-sci, less lit is easily accessible.
However, as you spend more time on /lit/ you will encounter more of the anti-science posters. A lot of anti-materialists. There will be schizoposters who went down the rabbit hole on some obscure branch of philosophy, and who (consequently) are difficult to argue against. A lot of sophistry, clever but incorrect arguments.
I remember how /sci/ felt when I first joined, how /fit/ felt, and how /lit/ felt. It feels good, and better than it is, until you get to know it well. Then it becomes just as tired as what you've been used to.
