Apparently my sperm made it into the ovum and that's why I was born. If the sperm next to me would have won the race.. would there be "someone else" sitting on this chair - or would this human look identical like me? Would it be the exact same character? Would it be me anyway?

It would be more like the middle-point between a fraternal twin and an identical twin. The egg would be the same, so it wouldn't be a fraternal twin. The sperm wouldn't be the same, so it wouldn't be an identical twin.

actually it doesn't "win the race" but rather, ovum guides sperm to itself. as sperm becomes becomes "hyperactivated" it sort of performs DoS attack on egg.

so it's mostly random, however it's also depends on mother which supposedly "has" ability to modify embryo/fetus
