Why do people keep getting better at math but so much worse at everything else? It's like people are only evolving in one specific way these days. Some people believe in the stupidest shit ever these days, like even stupider than the stuff ancient people believed in. But the people today are so much better at very particular skills like they can do calculus but they can't figure out how to tie a tie.

People in Texas died because they went into their garage and turned on the heat in their car and stayed in the car because they didn't have heat in their house due to the power outage. But they didn't even know that an engine produces carbon monoxide, people literally died because they sat in their car with the engine on and their garage door closed... during the storm in Texas... how did those people not know that basic fact about a car yet somehow managed to own a car in the first place?
