For some people it's a lost cause to try to communicate like an average human. but for some people, they can learn how to communicate normally, basically eliminating the negative symptom. For me, I was diagnosed when I was in the fourth grade, and I spent many years learning how to communicate with people in a way that they wouldn't know about my condition. fast forward many years, and I can meet someone and they would have no idea that I have aspergers.
