>>12729400not interested in adrenochrome conspiracy theories, although adrenochrome is oxidised adrenaline which is what my question is about. Adrenaline gets carried in the blood stream in the plasma like other hormones. I'm wondering since only 2% of oxygen is carried in the blood plasma and it dissolves, how the oxidisation of adrenaline works.
You are incorrect about almost everything else you say int your post about adrenaline though not just in regards to blood plasma. Adrenaline is produced in the medulla oblongata in the brain, can cause an "adrenaline rush" which is a high of sorts, and would certainly be released in a rape victim.
The pineal gland also has a rich supply of androgenic nerves (nerves sensitive to the adrenal hormone epinephrine otherwise known as adrenochrome)
