I solved them all pretty fast, they are all sums lol

the first one the sum is a sum of sizes, the second one, is a sum of (up +, down -) (and vice versa also works), the third is a sum of angles (right 0, down 1, left 2, up 3) (counterclockwise also works), and the last one is a sum of rings, each row/column has to sum to a full black/white square (all rings are filled)

C is also solved: sum the angles right is 0, bottom is 90 degrees clockwise or 270 degrees counterclockwise etc..
Sum them and you get precisely the result

A and D are probably mistakes of test maker (or test maker did it on purpose) reason being, that both of them can be corroborated through two means, by row and by column, therefore it's very likely that the answers are wrong. One possible reason for doing that, is to filter the results of "cheaters"

A is counting vertices column 1 + column 2 = column3 - Answer is 4 squares

For B, triangle up is 1, triangle down is -1. Sum across as before - Answer is 1 triangle up

For C, clock arithmetic. 0,1,2,3. 0 is mouth open right, increment by rotating clockwise. Answer is mouth down.

For D. Adding colors like exclusive or. Same color = Black. Not same = White. The answer is the middle top one.

Are you literally just looking at the puzzles later in the test and intuiting answers without cognizant processing?

These answers are retarded. The test sucks. If this is what all IQ-tests are like, IQ-tests are a scam.

For A, the third image has the same number of corners as the two previous pictures. The answer should be 4 squares.

B and C are sensible.

For D, the diagonals repeats the same pattern. The answer should be the same as the main diagonal.

Honestly, an IQ test without an objective grading criteria is invalid. For example, rather than "detect the pattern the test designer is probably thinking of" you could have "arrange the given pipes to connect to as many outlets as possible" or any other quantifiable puzzle.

Whether the instructor likes it or not, the first chart has the sum of horizontal sides as space three on lines one and two.

A is the 4 squares anons already explained that one
B is the 3 pointing up triangles, each triangle is either +3 or minus 3, going through the process the 3 pointing up triangles means you end with a sum of 0 which is ideal
C is sum of angles
D is simple because its just 3 different sets of identical objects

centre is kind of an odd case, as it's only touching one ring, so that should suffice to black it. alternatively, loop it around and now it's touching the permadark outside. same result. black central square still valid for d.
