A few semesters ago I took a Matrix Algebra course as part of my CS degree, however I realized I don't remember much of it. I'm planning to self-study Linear Algebra (or at least the equivalent of 1- or 2- semesters college course) and I'd like to hear some advices on how to approach it. I suppose it should be similar to approaching any math discipline so don't hesitate to share your experience regardless.

>should I be taking notes? If so, physical ones? Digital ones?
>how many exercises should I do per chapter? Pen/paper, then digitize them?
>what book to use? I'll be using pic related with Hefferon's Linear Algebra for additional exercises where it applies.
