Consider the following:
>From what we know about exoplanet surveys, Earth is quite smaller than the average rocky planet, meaning less gravity
>We evolved at a point of relatively low oxygen in our planet's history since life begun (more oxygen = bigger life)
>Humans are quite smol even when compared to historical Earth life
Are we gonna explore the cosmos only to find out that we are the manlets of the Milky Way?
This is a prospect that terrifies me.
