I can understand everything and visualize just fine when possible, but I never come up with anything original, I just try a coupe "by the numbers" approaches and give up if they don't work.
maybe I'm just not interested enough, idk
still feels bad when all it takes is just one "out of the box" idea and I can't come up with it for the life of me
