What are the actually expected consequences of climate change? Heres my argument: It will be like a sauna. Like a hot day at a Borneo forest.
The high temperature can increase but total solar irradiation reaching earth will stay the same. More heat=More evaporation=more clouds=more humidity until saturation=less evaporation=equilibrium.
People associate temperature with deserts but tropical jungles are also hot, water has to evaporate and fall somewhere, deserts like Sahara happen due to natural air currents that concentrate the rain in geographic bands, i mean the poles are technically deserts while the equator is drenched in rain.
Antarctica would take like thousands of years to melt. Lets say it gradually melts and people gradually move inland as the coast changes over the next 5000 years.
What else is there to worry? I think some verdant regions may turn arid and some arid regions may turn verdant, overall more cloud cover and more air humidity and a more uniform climate (global sauna).
