I've been on and off of them since I was like 8 years old, I'm 27 now. Prescribing amphetamines to children should be a crime. Between the amphetamines, SSRIs, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers -- I'd say that they negatively affected me more than they helped. I'm not a huge anti-pharma kind of guy, because I think they do have their place-- but I do hold the belief that they shouldn't be used on children.
