I don't have any real knowledge on this. But from what I have heard, it does not work that well. Typically you end up being more tired, and you are drowsy throughout the day.
I would recommend getting your 8 hours of sleep (or 7:20) and meditating twice a day for 20 minuets, you will probably achieve what you are looking for. Or somthing like this that works for you.
