>>12708239What other materials do you want? Emax and other dental porcelains look very nice and are tough. Zirconia is tougher than natural tooth, but obviously the cementation seam is not impervious. Composite is small and easy to do, great for smaller things.
There has been a singular instance of a natural tooth being used as a natural crown base, the patients daughter donated her wisdom tooth as the raw material. It's not superior to Emax or anything, but I guess it's a nice feeling that it is all enamel and dentin.
