A good analogy for entagled electrn spins is putting two gloves of a pair in different boxes. If one is left, the other must be right, and vice versa, but you can't force one of them to be left to transmit right to the other one. Taking one glove out of the box releases the information of what glove must be in the other box, but it doesn't actually control the result.
