I have the best luck with cyanoacrylate for just about anything I need to glue
recently used it on shoe rubber and it worked great
only thing I wouldn't use it for is wood
try diy because this board actually isn't that smart

I looked all over for that, the stores showed them as in stock but the shelves were empty. Probably due to theft of the ethnic variety.
I read the msds for it too, it's toluene based which is weird. Sounds like it melts the rubber together.
Went with cyanoacrylate that I already had and a week later my shoes are still fine.
