>>12706735There's not really anything else that suits me better in all honesty. I think I'd neck myself if I had to work for a corporation, or in a position where I'm just making my bosses richer.
Going for a biology degree like I said, and if I can get into med-school, I want to. Anesthesiology (maybe radiology even) would be my ideal landing field, but once you're in medschool they may figure out a path that's better suited for ya.
I don't mind stressful situations or dealing with people, I just wouldn't want my primary job to inform people they're dying or try and perform operative surgery in a critical patient. I'd rather work more behind the scenes, although the occasional emergency calling for my talents is perfectly acceptable.
If not medschool/the medical field, than my next choice would be some type of environmental job. Wildlife biologist positions don't exactly grow on trees, but there's definitely other jobs in the field that could provide this type of meaningful work.
My main thing is I don't want to end up behind a desk all day, taking calls about X or Y, and to be honest, managing other people doesn't really suit me either as I'm very much a live and let live, non-conformist type guy.
Like I said, I've got some ideas and a general direction I'm headed in, but I'm not too committed to any one career yet.
