Current machine learning is so far from AI, it's laughable. It's literally just a pattern recognition machine using human judgment as input. When you think about it, all you are doing is basically creating a trend line based on what people say about a thing, and then claiming that trend line has actual intelligence. No, it's just an equation extrapolated from real data, it has nothing resembling intelligence.
Even the google brain is just this pattern recognition machine, but applied to every dataset known to man. It would be farcical to think this is anywhere close to actual AI.
