Social sciences which rely on postmodernism and the rejection of objectivity are the reason why the public is no longer trusting the works of scientists, to the average hillbilly/hick a biologist is no different to a gender queer theorists, they're all apart of the academic elite.

Is a good example of why people don't trust scientists, it's not because of politics. It's because certain fields of science are pure shit and discredit other fields. When shitty studies make it into normie msm news it's not going to say "social scientists/queer theorists say that...", it's going to say "scientists/experts say". People lump all scientists into one category.
For the sake of public trust, there should be laws passed down prohibiting the publishing of studies which haven't been peer reviewed.
