I've tried some other probiotic foods, but nothing containing this specific strain I think. Some seemed to help a little.

This one is supposed to treat stomach inflammation, which is curious because I have noticed my stomach bloating abnormally after eating all my life.

Anon who has eaten very little salt for almost 10 years here. you're going to get really thirsty, an unquenchable thirst. You're also going to have less energy overall. I'm feeling so much better since I started eating more salt last year, though I still have to get used to the taste of salty food.

Why wouldn't I? This bacteria is supposed to remove the bad parts of autism (aka impaired social function) while retaining the good ones (hypersensitivity, attention to detail, etc.).

It would be very interesting if autism is found to be linked to gut microbiome. Gut bacterial presence already being studied (with very promising results) as a cause for many other diseases that were previously considered completely unrelated, mostly immune diseases like psoriasis etc.

Unrelated to autism but probiotics cured me from what had been misdiagnosed as ulcerative colitis. I literally had diarrhea every day for over 10 years, but in 2017 after a gastroenterologist I was seeing mentioned it (almost offhand), I started taking daily probiotics and after about a month or two I was cured. I occasionally get some gas or sometimes loose-ish stool but nothing like I had for over a decade of my life.

Autism is normal. Everyone else is mentally ill from too much iron. Not eating salt improves your microbiome, and too much makes you sluggish and depressed. But it shouldn't make you autistic.

Just eat oats and beans all the time. I studied probiotics and they do work, they are just more expensive than just feeding your gut biome with oat and legumes. I put oatmeal flour in my noodles nowadays, even after the fattiest noodle bowl I no longer get the tell-tale feelbad of eating heavy food.
Eating legumes (beans) every day removes all symptoms of diabetes type 2, just to point out an obvious, measurable health positive effect. Oat and legumes are quite similar in nutrient profile.

No I literally got samples from the manufacturer (BioGaia) so I could research it as part of my eductation. What turned me off probiotics is that the cost-benefit analysis does not really make sense, unless you are fermenting your own food and eating that. Prebiotics on the other hand, eating foods that feed your gut biotia, is very cheap and simple.
